Solo Exhibit: Visual Heart, March 2009 (Reception: March 13) 2713 East Commercial Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL
"Visual Heart" was the product of a grant I received through the Broward Cultural Council, Broward County. Three suites within the UNCOMMON Gallery showcased a solo exhibit of my ENTIRE collection of paintings. The reception was a wonderful success thanks to over 150 friends, family and art lovers. 
Funding for this project is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.

UPDATE/OUTCOME: :: I met a gallery owner from Miami that sounds interested in pursuing a project. ::
Made contact with a reporter from the MetroMix (publication for local
information about the "happenings" around town). Click here -> article for the mention of Friday. :: My best friend Tricia and Lee came down, all the way from Washington DC, to help with the show. What a team! :: Sales of prints and a few smaller originals surpassed the cost of food and beverage by a good amount. Thank you! :: The new charcoal technique was well received. And, I have requests for a few commissioned pieces. Favorite line of the evening... "I've never been to an art reception before." See, art can be fun!
