A unique group exhibition showcased eighty-five local and international artists. The invited artists were selected to create individual works inspired by existing boundaries. The exhibit was presented as an installation consisting of separate canvases, each shares the same dimensions but each canvas is as unique as the artist who created it. While together they form one, ultimately each canvas is an individual work of art that will be sold separately.
85@85 is an annual group exhibition. Artists selected to exhibit in this year's exhibition represented a myriad of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and work in disciplines ranging from photography to multimedia installations.
The exhibtion was on view December 1, 2007 through February 29, 2008.
