For a year-and-a-half I was part of Cafe Tu Tu Tango's artist program and painted Sunday evenings at the restaurant. But, unfortunately, after nearly 20 years, Cafe Tu Tu Tango closed it's doors at the Coconut Grove location. There were about 25 artists in the program and I had the pleasure of getting to know a few of them. It's sad...but it happens. Here's the story from as seen in the Miami Herald.
Cafe Tu Tu Tango will remain open in Orlando and California. It is a tapas restaurant inspired by Spanish Artist's lofts back in a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another.

I went dressed to Tango with my China Town shirt on and it reminds me of my two recent trips to NYC and Chi-town. Ah, the city. This one is going to be called City Dreams. Who, knows...maybe someday.
