"Self Portrait Exhibition" was a juried competition hosted by the Broward Art Guild. Opening Reception was Friday, July 27th. A total of 31 artists from South Florida were represented.

I decided to deviate from my normal media and painted my portrait on a mirror. Clever I like to think, to look at my self portrait in a mirror. Mixed medium: the stars are stickers, the eye is paper; necklace and water is duct tape. Permanent marker was used to write a few words around the portrait: play; belong; dance; live; music; smile; joy; love; laugh; learn and dream. This was a fun piece to do and I learned that painting on mirror is not as easy as one might think.
