March 11, 2010 Art Reception and Exhibit at Banco del Pais main branch
Location: San Pedro Sula, Honduras
My first international show is through the good graces of and partnership with CEPUDO in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. CEPUDO is a micro-enterprise project comprised of 10 chapters throughout Honduras. Over the past 10+ years more than 15,000 women and men have completed courses in upholstery, baking, sewing, beauty and pinata making. CEPUDO is best communicated with an exclamation as it exemplifies the empowerment of the people of Honduras. The opportunity to learn a trade provides a source of income and priceless rejuvenation of self-esteem and pride. A percentage of proceeds from this event will provide aid to programs of CEPUDO. Teach a man to fish.....
